Vetforce™ Total Insect Concentrate

Easy mixing concentrate for effective insect control

Directions for Use

To control accessible, exposed stages of crawling and/or flying insects listed: cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, mites, spiders, ants, adult muscid flies and mosquitoes.

Animals may remain on the premises during application. Dilute with water or mineral oil at the rate of 1-8 fl. oz. per gallon, using the high concentration for severe infestations and low concentration for maintenance applications. Spray to wet treatment area and insects – product must contact insects to be effective. Reapply as needed.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS AND APPLICATION EQUIPMENT:

SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Vetforce Total Insect Concentrate may be diluted with water and applied with conventional application equipment including hand-held or backpack pump-up or powered sprayers. When diluting with water, prepare only the amount needed for immediate use. NOTE: It is possible that Vetforce Total insect Concentrate may mar some sensitive surfaces. For sensitive indoor/outdoor surfaces such as vinyl, plastic, fabric, wood floors, etc., test a small non-visible area first before spraying. This may include vinyl siding, outdoor furniture, storm doors and windows, etc. If spray gets on any sensitive surface, simply rinse with water, and wipe off with clean cloth.

Method of Application: In compressed air or powered backpack, hand-held, or other sprayers, apply at 1-2 gallons of diluted solution per 1000 sq. ft., until area is sufficiently covered.

MOSQUITO AND FLY CONTROL – OUTDOOR YARD OR BARRIER TREATMENT:
To control adult mosquitoes and other biting flies, dilute Vetforce Total insect Concentrate as directed below. Spray the insects until wet. Treat harborage areas such as shrubbery and vegetation where mosquitoes/flies may rest or hide.

COCKROACHES, BED BUGS, FLEAS, TICKS, MITES SPIDERS, ANTS: Dilute as directed below (use lower rate for maintenance service and higher rates for active infestations) and spray insects until wet. Apply areas where insects may harbor or hide at a rate of 1-2 gallons per 1,000 square feet or until area is thoroughly wet, such as inside animal housing, between wall joins, behind siding and under roofs and eaves. Make special efforts to spray areas where pest species congregate such as waste areas.

Repeat as necessary.

We do all our own pest control, so I thought I'd give this stuff a try. It's a small-ish bottle, but a little bit goes a long way. We live in Central Florida and we have every kind of pest and then some around our house. We also have some kitties that live outside, so it was important that whatever we use isn't going to harm them, too. And I was drawn to the fact that this concentrate is supposed to work on fleas and ticks, which I also don't want anywhere near the outdoor cats because I interact with them regularly. Mosquitos can be lethal in Florida and cockroaches just go with the territory, so we kind of have the perfect place to try this mix.My husband applied it all around the perimeter of the house and so far, so good. I've noticed less ants traversing across the pathways, so maybe they got the hint. I haven't spotted one flea (or G..forbid- ticks) on or around the outdoor cats and I haven't seen one cockroach since the application. It's a constant battle, though, so I expect he'll need to apply this stuff regularly to maintain this pest-free environment. My husband said he used about two ounces per gallon to start since this was the first time he was using it. He'll probably take it down to one ounce per gallon in the future. That means the 16 oz bottle will last us all summer and then some, but for the current price around 40 bucks, it's such a much better deal than paying a professional company to come in and do it. And we can spare a little time to save hundreds of bucks, plus peace of mind knowing it was done correctly.

Easy to mix up and smells decent but it doesn't do a very good job of killing bugs or repelling them. I like that its natural ingredients but it didn't do much when i used it to spray inside stalls for flies. it did effect the small moths but not really the flies.

Natural product - don't expect miracles. That said upfront, there are a few things that in my opinion, make this one stand out. This formula includes cedarwood and clove oil in a reasonably strong dosage — both of which are among the more effective plant-based options for insect control, especially for mites, fleas, and other soft-bodied pests. This definitely seems like one of the better blends, and I especially like that it's in concentrated form so you can adjust the dilution depending on your needs, which is not an option with others I’ve tried. It also takes up less space in storage, which is another benefit of the concentrate. That said, I’m skeptical of the claim that it kills things like cockroaches, bed bugs, and spiders. In my experience — and based on what I know about how these oils work — they’re better at repelling or irritating bugs, not necessarily killing them outright, especially at the recommended dilution ratios. For certain pests, maybe it’s more plausible, but calling it a killer across the board feels like an overreach.Still, this definitely seems like one of the more effective and flexible ones out there.

This insecticide solution works really great. We diluted it, per the instructions and sprayed it in our horses bedding, throughout the pasture, around the outside of our home, etc. So far, we have seen a significant change in the amount of flies around the horses and throughout the property. I like that it's safe enough to be sprayed around our animals and children. It has no harsh smell, and it's easy to use.We put it in a sprayer and we had the property sprayed within an hour. I highly recommend this product if you're experiencing issues with insects. It's very affordable for to be such a great quality product.

In Southern California, argentine ants (the little black ones) are ubiquitous - you're never going to get rid of them, so mitigation techniques are key. Since we have pets, I'm always looking for solutions which don't come with the worry about them coming into contact with it. Of course, that usually also means you have to adjust expectations accordingly - but since these ants are gonna come back around at some point no matter what I use, this type of product is welcomed since it means I can apply liberally and at least keep them at bay for an extended period of time. After putting out a bunch of Borax-based bait and letting them chow down on that (which helps eliminate large numbers of them), I sprayed a generous amount of Vetforce Total Insect Concentrate (watered down per instructions, of course) across multiple locations where they typically show up inside the house. This did seem to keep them at bay - or at least, force them to look elsewhere for an ingress point, which is exactly what I wanted from it.A huge plus is that this is a concentrate - which means it's easy to store since you aren't constantly buying larger containers, and also means you can adjust the mixture (I applied heavily now, but will re-apply later in the summer using a more diluted mix).

Sprayed this in our backyard along an ivy wall which has been a source of mosquitos for years at our house in the summer. No mosquitos since I sprayed this stuff so I'm happy! I also really like that it's non toxic and the smell is quite pleasant thanks to the cloves.

I was envisioning a bottle larger than 16oz. But, it is fairly concentrated and does seem to work. Once diluted, it can make anywhere from 2 to 16 gallons of spray, depending on the concentration you want. My main issues in Colorado are spiders and mosquitos, but I like the idea of it handling fleas and tics as well. I mostly used this outdoors, except for some in my garage and a little bit around my door jams. I did a 2 oz : 1 gal ratio, which made 8 gallons. I dumped it in my backpack sprayer and circled my house. It's been a week and the spiders seem better. I used to see them scatter just walking around my yard, and now I don't. As for mosquitos, it seems better, but I live near a lake and can't really control mosquitos that want to visit my house.

This is a good quality, easy to apply, safer solution for killing bugs. It's easy to apply with simple instructions. This has helped battle the fleas and ticks this year, which have been horrible. I feel much better using products like this, as opposed to the super harmful chemicals. This stuff works pretty well.

Nice effective general insecticide from Vetforce is good for indoors and around the house outside. I get bad ants in the house every late spring, and Vetforce took care of them this year. What's nice, is there is no overpowering smell, so I have no problem using it indoors.
