"...The bottle is the perfect size...This is the perfect weight and size for easy, accurate application around the foundation of my house.
I noticed a huge colony of ants coming up our gate and fence post latch. I sprinkled this in the area, and when I went out later in the evening to close up the chicken coop, not a single ant to be seen...This is my easy go to now for pest control. I'll be ordering more for sure."

This has a pleasant smell. A little goes a long way! It has kept clover and wood mites away from our home. We were seeing them really bad and now they are gone. Great product

I was concerned whether it would work, since my chicken coop mite problems can be extreme. However, with the very first application directly to the affected chicken, I have seen a marked improvement in the mites overnight! Very good sign!

Works Great & Pet Safe
I've got both fur and feather babies, and using natural products is really important to me. It's great that this product does it's job too. I like that it's American made. It has a wide range of uses, anywhere from pet bedding to the chicken coop. It's got a fine enough dust powder to settle in and do it's job. It works great!

It says to use in well ventilated areas and in this hot weather, I'd recommend following the manufacturer's recommendation! Open your windows for approximately 30-60 minutes to help the odor clear out. That's what we did and after that, it was fine.

Now that it's summer time, we have to watch out for the outdoor fleas getting inside. We've got five indoor only cats and sometimes we see outdoor stray cats on our security cameras hanging near the front door. If those outdoor cats have fleas, they could be dropping fleas or eggs/larvae onto the outdoor mat and those fleas could hop inside or hitch a ride on us human servants! To help prevent a flea infestation, we usually spray the outside yard with some type of flea spray. And the rugs outside the door also get a spray treatment. But I also sprinkle some of this Vetforce mite dust on the area right around the front of the screen door just in case some fleas or mites make it through. We also figure that if the cats do get fleas or mites, we can use this powder on their bedding. The container is easy to use and has a shaker top. It kind of smells like some essential oils too.

Vet Force Mite Dust is made with plant-derived ingredients without synthetic fragrance or harsh ingredients. You can use this really anywhere and it will not harm your pets. We are using it in our chicken coop to keep control of any small insects or mites that may be harmful to our hens. Thus far it seems to be working and our chickens are doing fine. I also dusted some of our plants that seem to have tiny little bugs on them and I've seen less of these. I had previously used the yellow sticky plastics in my plants but they are basically fly strips and didn't not kill them. Our plants are doing perfectly fine. It is very easy to apply by just dusting over your plants or area if you want do a broad even application to an area. I find that using a cup with holes in the bottom and taping it does this well. I'm sure you could also use a mesh strainer too.

I like the mission and background of this company. I also love that the dust is okay to use indoors. We have found Diatomaceous Earth a good natural solution for spiders and some ants. Let’s hope this form of Geraniol works better, since it is more expensive than DE. Here is my early input:
We are currently using this product on Junipers with mites and testing in some areas around equipment that ants love, and indoors for spiders.
After three weeks and two applications, the mites seem to be retreating, although much slower than the other miticide used a few feet away.
It has been a shorter time period, but ants and spiders seem a bit less bothered by it. I am still hopeful. Multiple applications (if they work) and slower progress are preferable to excessive chemicals that may be more damaging.
I will update with progress or lack of…

Discovered the effectiveness of these fine powders for bugs and such a long time ago. I lived in Houston, TX for five years and the apartment complex I lived in sprayed for roaches every three months. My uncle had a home their and he used a harsh chemical and almost killed is dog (although my aunt wouldn't have cared much, she didn't it). Roaches were so prevalent, when they'd crawl on me in my sleep, I'd absent minded grab them crush them and wipe my hands on my clothes. I think the chemical sprays just chased them around. So, got a similar powder like this I'd read about.I put it under furniture outside the door, behind the fridge, and in the corners of the carpet. A couple days later I saw roaches spinning on the floor in pain. Later they were dead. I lived in a linear apartment wing with an apartment on either side and three on top that all touched walls or the top corners of mine. Found out later that it not only killed the roaches in my apartment the other five apartments as well, and they didn't come back. Further, I use a similar powder when my dog brought in fleas infecting half the house about 10 years back. I used heated fly paper traps and got a lot of them but was still being treated like a blood buffet when I slept. Got the dog a good flea collar, but it didn't help with the infection in the carpet and other areas. So, I remembered my days in Houston and got some similar powder to this, and it took care of the infestation. I currently don't have any infestations I know of but a lot of plants and landscaping around the house. I spread this out on those areas and near the entrances. I can't report direct success as I won't be able to quantify it unless I get an infestation, but I'm confident this will work with similar results in the past. One of the few products relatively safe to use, and more effective long term than harsh chemicals that can harm animals and the environment. Those may kill faster, but definitely not better. Recommended.
